Frequently Asked Questions

How does Flipkart calculate the commission rate?

Flipkart charges a commission percentage on selling price that varies by category — typically 2.8% (high-value electronics) to 25% (fashion). Items priced under ₹1,000 are commission-free since November 2025. Our calculator pulls the appropriate rate by category and price.

What is the Flipkart fixed fee?

A flat per-order fee based on selling-price slab: ₹11 (≤₹250), ₹17 (≤₹500), ₹32 (≤₹1,000), ₹62 (>₹1,000). It applies regardless of category or fulfilment mode.

What’s the difference between FBF (F-Assured) and Non-FBF?

FBF (Fulfilled by Flipkart / F-Assured) means Flipkart stores and ships your inventory — lower shipping rates but you pay storage. Non-FBF (Seller-fulfilled) means you ship from your own warehouse — slightly higher shipping rates but no storage fee. Our calculator covers both.

Why does my COD order show a different fee?

COD orders incur a collection fee of 2.5% (min ₹15) on the order value, while prepaid orders bundle this in. Toggle the payment mode to see the impact.

Are these rates updated for 2026?

Yes. We track Flipkart’s rate card and update the calculator when the Seller Hub publishes changes. Always cross-verify on your Flipkart Seller Hub before pricing.
